Our Standard
The word gets used everywhere. We would rather show you what it means at Croziér — in specific, verifiable terms — than ask you to take it on faith.
Whether Raw or Virgin, the cuticle stays intact and runs in one direction — never stripped, never acid-bathed. That is what keeps shedding low, tangling minimal, and the movement natural from weft to tip.
Raw is single-donor hair in its natural state; where a wave or curl is offered, the pattern is steam-set, never chemically forced. Virgin is chemically untreated and may be blended across donors for a more uniform finish. We always tell you which is which.
Most hair is photographed in studios and tested in controlled environments. We select for West African heat, coastal humidity, and the daily reality of women who live in these conditions.
Nothing sits in storage. Every unit is prepared when you place your order. This takes 10–14 business days and it is worth it. The alternative is hair that has been compressed and handled before it reaches you.
Both are 100% human hair with the cuticle intact. The difference is in sourcing and processing — and every product is labelled, so you always know which one you're buying.
Lace Transparency
Standard lace is visible. HD lace is not. The mesh is fine enough to be undetectable against deep skin tones — which is not a bonus feature. It is a baseline requirement for women who look like our customers.
Every closure and frontal we carry uses HD lace. There is no tier below this in our collection.
